Donations
Donations to the Foundation are used directly and within the shortest possible time. These (donations) are different from contributions to the endowment fund or capital of the foundation, the interests from which are and can then be used to support the activities of the foundation.

Sponsorship of individual children
The foundation, Stiftung Regentropfen, does not support a system of sponsorship of individual children in the sense that other organisations and agencies do. It is, however, still possible to permanently SUPPORT a single child but in a different form. In case of opting to support an individual child or children, please contact first of all the foundation's board.
Your donation (- the amount determined by you -) is transferred to the “pool” of the Stiftung Regentropfen. The board together with the beneficiary and his or her parents determine how much should be given out and when that should be done. The beneficiary or the appropriate school or educational institution then receives the support for the education of your sponsored child.
In case a benefactor cannot raise the whole amount of money needed for the education of the beneficiary at a time, he or she still will receive funding from the foundation so he or she can continue to pursue his education.
The board of the foundation consider this approach to be fair and it has also been proven to work well.
Endowment fund
Endowment, means donations made to increase the stock of capital of the foundation, the interest from which would then be used to support the work of the foundation. If you want to contribute to the endowment fund of the Stiftung Regentropfen in order to ensure sustainable and continual help to young people even beyond your life time, then please get in touch with the director, Fr. Moses Asaah Awinongya SVD.
Remember that only donations to the foundation are used promptly and directly to support needy children and youth. An Endowment may not be used to salvage immediate situations but rather the accrued interests.
